Hi,
I have a Oyster V salellite receiver/disc on my MH.
As it failed yesterday (holiday in Spain), I have been looking for an answer and while doing, found this forum.
My problem is as follows:
While the dish was retracting, it was blocked for a small moment. After this, everything was working fine, accept for the retraction. I got an error message: "1800 feedarm not adjusted" . While driving, a continuous beep signal is active.
I guess it has to do with end stop switch(es). Who knows how to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Han (The Netherlands)

It's possible the gears have slipped and it will need repairing. I can only suggest trying to disconnect the power to it - if you are very lucky it may have its own fuse - which should silence the alarm.

Han,

The problem is due to the arm being torqued in position.
If the system is now saying feedarm not adjusted you need to calibrate the feedarm.
To do this you need access to a hidden menu and you will need to be able to access the roof also as you need to loosen the arm bolts in order to set it correctly.
I am just about to finish work and I pick up my son on a Friday afternoon so cannot stay for a phone call but I have PM'd you the instructions so you may try the calibration yourself.
I'll be back on the forum later this evening so please let me know how you get on.

Hi & welcome. To find the "PM" go to your name in the blue bar at the top / a panel opens .select "conversations" which is PM's on here.

Just a thought. Don't you have to be a paid up member to access PMs?

Hi,
I was not aware that I was using a paid service. Nevertheless, I just paid the yearly subscribtion fee.

Sorry, I was not aware you had to be a paid member to read PM’s. My bad! :D2
