I'm a newbie
Hello funsters, can anyone please advise of any overseas travel insurance that will offer cover for an undiagnosed condition for a 69 year old.

Unfortunately, I have a condition which is still undiagnosed and awaiting being referred to another consultant, in a different department, to carry out more tests.

I was in hospital with this condition 4 times this year. The condition was resolved through treatment by A&E department and only the February episode resulted in an overnight stay in a ward.

So far, I have been offered insurance via the Post Office who suggested £800-£1000 for cover. Other insurance companies will not offer cover a condition which is undiagnosed.

Any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

Thank you, funster Mary

If its undiagnosed I think you will struggle, I was quoted £704 for 4 days!

I used Red Pennant as the cheaper and best option - have you tried there ?

You could also try LV there travel insurance covers a lot of stuff that others don't, I have the premier multi trip, reasonable price but haven't had to use it yet.

Just taken out cover with LV as they were the best price. However, our conditions are already diagnosed,so don't know what they are like with un-diagnosed
