Can anyone recommend somewhere to stop overnight with a campervan near to Cropredy?
Need to be at The Music Festival very early on Thursday morning.

Fir tree at warmington really nice place?

We got into the village at 645 last year and straight in. to the campsite ?
Its going to be a bit more chaotic than usual this year as some of the carriageway over the bridge is restricted for work being done.
We shall probably be on 7b with a funster sticker in the window and the flag of Lancashire proudly flying so if you see us say hi.

Barnstones caravan park just off the A423 at Great Bourton, just a couple of miles from Cropredy.
I've stayed there and it's fine and not too expensive.

You'll be very lucky to get in with Dave at barnstones. He's usually booked up a year ahead

Staying tonight at Cheltenham Racecourse, I have been looking at staying overnight in a free car park at Stow-on-the-Wold!

Just outside Banbury on the A423 on the left is a large layby its signposted Crematorium you are only about 3 miles from cropredy

There is also a pub called Bowling Green where you could park on access lane , but it has recently changed hands so not sure on that now . https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/C...3897e!2m2!1d-1.31907!2d52.1157185!1m0!3e0!5i1

I would give them a ring. They have height barriers on the car park , but I have seen motorhomes in the car park on some mornings

I have used this in the past. They expect that you will use the pub, for at least "drinkies". That not being an issue as we have friends who live nearby we always ended up eating and drinking there anyway. They do (did) however have the height barriers, as at one time a previous Owner had a hard time getting rid of some P***** (undesirables).

The hight barriers are still there although open when I passed yesterday. The pub has recently changed hands and had quite a bit of work done on the garden at least.
