Overnight Parking Tiverton services. (1 Viewer)

Hi.

Has anyone overnight' at Tiverton South services?

Heading to Cornwall mid August and hoping to leave from Herts around 7pm and get down to Tiverton part of the world then crash for a few hours before continuing on into Cornwall.

The parking charges for a car are set at £6 but MH and HGV not listed for that site.

My MH us 6.5m x 2.2m so it will fit in a car space with a slight overhang on the length.

I'll be getting down that way too late for a Britstop but not sure if Tiverton will accept MH

Any experiences greatly welcome.

I don't know about Tiverton services allowing MHs, but personally I'd be looking for a site just a tad further off the main road.

I don't expect to get down that way before 11pm so I'm not sure any site would let me on that late

Avoid Exeter services it's fairly unpleasant in the wee hours

I'd be tempted to call in at Sainsbury's at Alphington Rd, Exeter EX2 8NH

Where you can get a nice breakfast, refuel etc

That is what the OP is talking about . Called Tiverton south services & 6 pound to park after 2 hours now.

if you go past services 300 yards on right theres a big laybye with burger shack in it youll be ok there for a few hours kip no charge hope this helps, thats tiverton services

Stayed at Tiverton services. Paid the £6 by app. Nice and quiet and only 1 other broken down VW camper there. You cab back into spaces that allow your rear overhand ro go over a grass area so no worries about needing 2 tickets if you ate a normail-ish size van. Loads of pop'up sites here in Cornwall so no need to book but not many with electric but with 2x 110ah batteries and 160w solar we have done 5 days straight with no leccy
