Over 70s isolation..

It normally is nearly empty anyway. Won't make the slightest difference, and they'll still claim their allowance.

Unfortunately there will be a lot of very lonely and depressed people who need looking after.

I'd like to think that the majority of people will rise up and show a kind, caring side that looks out for others.... but fear I am already being disappointed. :(

I guess it depends where you live.
Only 80 houses in our village and I think we’ve worked out that all have an eye watching out for them.

the worry would be that by trying to look after them might ultimately infect them ?

I think it would be a good idea if all the parents that could take their kids out did it - but I think it won't be long before schools are closed anyway

You both must live in what is called Hamlets, places of small communities. I live in a village of less than 300 houses. I am over the big 70, also have underlying health issues, but I am trying to get my head around what I can and cannot do. Like getting a haircut, taking rubbish down the tip etc where others are involved.

Ah such is life today, much changed from a week back
