I expect a lot of "best buys" on this topic and will appreciate the advice. I need a STURDY reclining chair that will fold as flat as possible. It needs to take the weight of a 300lb (or 140kg in new money) person. Portability is also important as the moho is only 6 metres long. Not bothered about colour. Price under £100 preferably. Doesn't need to recline to a horizontal position. I know Lafumas are really good but I would like to know about better alternatives. Looking for something with a bit of padding. Let the avalanche of suggestions begin.

Don't buy Isabbella,,the arms break.BUSBY.

Isabella. had mine for 8 years and the arms are still intact :giggle:

Ours hasn’t (yet......)! We have one Isabella Thor, and one Trail recliner. Not too sure if they will support 300lb, there doesn’t seem to be any info on max weight.

(the Trail recliner was half the price of the Isabella, but is not as well made, IMO)

The outwell range is well worth a look, light and fold flat.

Isabella Loke High Back with footrests, light, folds very flat, great chairs, very comfortable.

Blimey,,had an arm break lat year and two have broken this year. I am about 85 kg,,better half 55 kg so it's not weight.Good customer service though,,they are sending 2 new arms FOC.BUSBY.

If I was buying chairs again I would get ones with a bar across the bottom not individual legs that sink into soft ground. Lesson learned here.
