Out and about in London

weve done a lot in the last couple of days.
My bloody feet are killing me I dont know where Jo gets her energy

My son said exactly the same thing when he took the wife to Bulgaria recently, he’s 51 she is 76 in December said she had More energy than him. Think it must be there height, wife only just 5ft those little legs seem to work better than long legs,

I wasn’t sick but it was close

We used to go on it most Sunday mornings a few years back when we had an annual Merlin card which covered that and the aquarium nearby.

London is a big big place we find!( our eldest lives there and loves the buzz we like to get home!!!)

I wasn’t sick but it was close

We used to go on it most Sunday mornings a few years back when we had an annual Merlin card which covered that and the aquarium nearby.

Our friends booked in advance when it was newly opened they went on a day when it was thick fog! Didn't see diddly squat and it was £11 then which was a lot of money for a Yorkshire lass.
We saw a women who suffered such vertigo she sat in the middle of the pod with her eyes closed all the time!!! Why would you?!

Hi Anthea yes its been a very busy but very enjoyable 4 days.we have crammed a lot in .The London Eye is now £26 when booked on line ,and the Oyster cards are a godsend.We are off to Morton in Marsh tomorrow for 4days .

We could have met for coffee if you were up and about at 06.00 near tower bridge .
Laika the wonder dog would have loved it if you had thrown her ball for her.
Abbey woods is a great base to explore from.

Great photos.
We went to London last weekend and stayed at the Premier Inn County Hall which is adjacent to the Eye. There were long queues for the Eye and I had been before, so I went on the flying chairs thingy next to it. Great fun. We also went to the London 6 day Cycling at the Olympic veladrome and I went to Evensong at Westminster Abbey. It’s a great time to visit it without all the tourists, lovely singing and just quiet reflection whatever your faith - or no faith.
I had to go to Sketchers to get emergency comfy shoes!!

I bet you had a good look at the tyres that drive the Eye round Brian, do they look like standard automotive ones ?
