After 4 nights in the wonderful Lac Annecy, we decided to head over to Chamonix. It was an easy enough drive although some bigger units may struggle on some of the bends but it was fine for us.
We are now at Plaine Joux with the scenery absolutely breathtaking.

The weather has been absolutely fantastic. Even here it's 28 C. Apparently at the top of Mont Blanc it can get to -10 C in summer.

Apparently, there is no charge at this particular Aire except from June to September. Happy days!!!!

Yes, that's just outside. I'm looking at it now from underneath the awning. Unfortunately, clouds are covering the mountain.

But it's still breathtakingly beautiful
