Thought some of you might be interested in our Indian trip. We are travelling around the south before heading north.
Internet is spotty so I’ll just whack up some pictures.
Any questions just ask. We are really enjoying ourselves, fantastic food, wonderful people and we’ve seen some awesome sights. It’s very hot mid 30’s and humid. The monsoon rains are also late in leaving this year so we’ve had some huge thunderstorms.
Our eldest daughter Libby joined us for the first 2 weeks in Kerala. Our youngest son Harry is also travelling with us for some of the time.
Tea plantations in Munnar.
Wonderful food cooked by our host in our homestay.
We’ve seen loads of birds, monkeys, a tiger and this giant squirrel.
Wonderful street art and painted advertising
Beautifully arranged produce for sale.
Chinese fishing boats in fort Cochin
We’ve experienced some crazy tuk tuk rides!
Enjoyed sundowners on
Valkala and Kerala beaches
Visited lots of temples..
And witnessed incredible craftsmanship
Loving eating curry everyday and so far all good.
