They'd have to be carried out.
The nest is a good 8" below the hole. :giggle:
Of course, they may simply be pushed to one side and ignored.

Had 9 blue tit eggs in our box. Watched them hatch yesterday on camera, wish it had a video facility. Not looking too good today though, only 2-3 beaks when she comes in with food and she’s back sitting so suspect most may have died. Not sure why the box is sheltered and have managed normally to rear them. Feeling upset about it but trying to convince myself it’s nature and nothing I can do about it.
Had some pictures to download but says file too big. How do I get them smaller can't see an option for thumbprint size.
