INTRODUCTION
From my observation of those many motorhomers who spend some nights either wildcamping or on free aires, that they also use paid-for campsites/CLs/aires.
These people do not take kindly to such titles as FLTs or the like, just because sometimes they park in places for which there is no charge.
There are frequently posts from motorhomers who, even when on paying sites, do not need or use EHU and shower/toilet facilities
One of the determining factors of being able to include these styles of motorhoming is whether one can operate the motorhome off grid, using only on-board facilities.
PROPOSAL
This is a proposal for an acronym for those who fit the above description to be referred to as
OGG for OFF-GRID GUYS/GALS
FEEDBACK
Would those readers who fit into the description above kindly indicate the following:-
A Whether they welcome a different description, and acronym, of their choice of motorhoming.
B Whether the acronym OGG is appropriate and welcome.
C If the answers to above are ‘Yes’, what is the best way to spread its acceptance and use, even by those who like to criticise that lifestyle choice.
