Novice fitting Bafang BBS02, help with wiring to battery required please. (1 Viewer)

The photo below shows a cable that has to join together in order to connect the motor to the battery. I have no idea why it was not already connected. there is nothing else in the kit to help join them together.

The two plastic ends contain two metal bits that are different sizes too, just to complicate matters. It looks as though the bare wires should have corresponding plugs attached so they would just plug together.

I cant fit the motor in case I need to take it somewhere to get this sorted (no idea where that might be).

Is there a simple connector I can buy that would work if I cut off the two pastic ended bits leaving 4 bare wires and cover with insulation tape?

It was all going so well.....lol

Looks like they forgot to put the end on yours šŸ™ depending on where it's going to be on the bike I'd just buy a decent two cable connector.

Just a tad..
The easiest connections are XP60ā€™s. Easy to find, easy to solder and a positive one correct way only connection.
