NOS (Portugal) .. €1 per / day unlimited data?

Does anyone have any personal experience as to if this SIM will work outside of Portugal?

It's the pre pay up to 30 day SIM, NOS staff recon that it will but to watch out for roaming charges ! Something obviously got lost in translation, although the person I asked was at the time adding credit to the SIM, so there should have been no mistake as to the pre paid nature of the SIM.

We've been using it for around six weeks now streaming, maybe 3 hours pre day of video with no slow down, and very little buffering, a truly exceptional deal , hence my desire to keep using it in Spain and beyond when we set off again

Ours stopped the minute we crossed from Portugal into Spain

Nos wifi contracts and pay as you go cards do NOT work outside Portugal (unless they changed the rules between yesterday and now).

It doesn't even help if you fix the Nos Shop furniture...

It didn't work for us either once we crossed the border into Spain alas.. but great wifi whilst in Portugal...

We had exactly the same experience with a MEO sim in Portugal.

But we found in the autumn when we bought an Orange PAYG data sim in Spain that it worked fine through France and in the UK, and lasted for way longer than specified, both data and days. We did wonder if they’d not got the ability to turn it off outside Spain.
