We keep considering Sweden and Norway, we was going with Sundowners but plans changed, maybe if things get better with the fuel costs it might happen, hopefully before we get to old. šŸ˜Ž

Loved seeing one of your cats having a turn, šŸ˜‰ it didn't distract me ..... honest. šŸ˜ Bob

That kitten is made, doesn't help us by being so big (3.8k) and only 5 months old.
Our next batch of vids ( island of mull, Scotland) have him fully integrated in the adventure. Hope you watch and enjoy.

Since 2017. Before had caravan, folding camper and various tents.
I've been wanting to do Norway for a while. Was a bit worried about the weather. Everytime I watched a video it seemed to be drizzling. I can imagine Julie not being happy with that when we could be somewhere warm!
We have considered an escorted tour with Motorhome Tours to take some of the stress away from the planning. They are not going to Finland though, and I do fancy that.

The weather I guess can be hit and miss, we were very lucky. We had some great weather. I guess the longer you can go for the more likely to get some good weather.

The best thing about Norway is that you donā€™t have to plan. It is a vast country with a sparse population and stopping each night it so easy. The Norwegians are very friendly and welcoming. You really donā€™t need an escorted tour; in fact it would detract from the experience.

By the way, Finland is boring in comparison!

I agree, only time it's really busy is July ( that's like spring in the UK really. If you want to camp nr tromso, Bergen, Stavanger etc there are not many camp sites and the ones in and around recommend you book. But if you rang a day or to before hand and got there earlier, then I don't think you would have a problem.
Norway is so easy I agree escorted tour would hold you back.
Depends what you want from Finland, if it's spectacular vistas then Finland is not great. If it's bears, wolves, woverines, fresh water seals and some bird species then it's Finland.
If you are a little unsure why not ask on here if someone is going and hook up with them for a few days.

The last bit is for pappy really et el.

And vast expanse of ā€˜tundra ā€˜ and of course forest and more forest and a feeling of isolation.
