Arghh I should have read my MSE email yesterday, they have all gone already

From MSE site - Update 9.32am Thursday 2 May: All 75,000 free e-tickets have now sold out. If you want to get the 'free' pass, you can still buy one of the papers below. If you pick up a physical copy of the Daily Star (95p), Daily Mirror or Daily Express (both £1.50) by Sunday 5 May, you'll find a free National Trust family pass printed as a voucher within the papers. Some regional papers are also included,
Ahem

(change name of course)

Living up to the "Black Sheep". :)

IMPORTANT: As posted in the chat group - check-in on any day for everyone camping is definitely no earlier than 1pm - if arriving before that they will turn us away as the grass can still be being cut & groundworks being done until then & ask us to come back after that time. There isn't much of an area to wait by Reception as it's also the limited parking for their Shop & busy in that area with farm equipment moving around & there's no other suitable holding area.
There is Norden Park & Ride/Purbeck Park car park just along the road https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/pa...park/-/ddl_display/ddl/268816/99395/maximized which is expensive for motorhomes at £7 from 8am-10pm & can be seen here https://www.google.com/maps/place/Purbeck+Park/@50.6463438,-2.0694766,1231m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m15!1m8!3m7!1s0x487307e849f0e753:0x80ec08aac6a82032!2sWareham+BH20+5DW!3b1!8m2!3d50.6456768!4d-2.0625821!16s/g/1tdhl8gr!3m5!1s0x487307ec026478cd:0xe71ad6187e48a915!8m2!3d50.6456689!4d-2.0625786!16s/g/11bc6cdmdj?entry=ttu It's handy for Purbeck Mining Museum https://purbeckminingmuseum.org/ & the railway station there to have a look around though & looks like there are cycle trails too.

Hi,

A late cancellation I'm afraid, my wife and I have been hit hard with Covid since Monday. We thought we might be over it in time but we're still spiralling downwards at the moment. I've been in contact with Nordern via email to cancel, so pitch 11 in the Pond Field is up for grabs. Booking ref. 7063613

Disappointed is not the word!

Ask Norden to re book u for next year, u just pay the difference between this years price and next year, or ask to change the booking and go later on in the year. I had to do this last year.

Hi Scottie, unfortunately if next year's meet is over May 12 we won't be able to make it as it's our grandson's 21st.

Fair enough might be worth maybe a visit this year anyway. . I used to do the shows, started 12 years ago but I prefer the rallies when I can get on the. Depending how things are at Norden, I'm considering a further visit later on it the year

So where are you, you missed the rain but now your missing the sun
I've been home in East Anglia and have been enjoying a week or so, of glorious sunshine (20-23c) while working on my old VW's gearbox and painting the outside of the house.
(Got window frames and most of the wood on the walls done but bottled out with the very top. Someone else will have to do the eves.)
"What is someone nearly 80 doing up a ladder, 20+ feet off the ground?" said a neighbour, I had to agree with her. 😄

Not everyone can go gallivanting, some of us have responsibilities don't you know? 🤔

Hope you all had a great time and the Peacocks didn't wake you? 😄

quite a few years now, and loving every minute..
lovely to see pics of the valley, my favourite view first thing in the morning, but haven't been to norden farm for a few years now, one of my favourite sites..

is the old broken blue faded cart still up the right hand side of the drive as you face the valley, or has it finally been moved, and what about the curly coated pigs, are they still there?

.

Both gone but much is the same & still charming - there's peacocks & a cute, recently shaved alpaca now
