Now illegal apparently. Be careful out there. Don’t leave any evidence if you do.

Didn’t they used to put a dye in swimming pools that turned purple when you peed? I think some kids would take that as a challengeI think they are still trying out ways of detecting it, collecting evidence and taking the whole lot to court..
That really is taking the pee.
I know a kid who decided to go in the sea for a pee in Bulgaria, two coppers watched him, waited for him to come out and frogmarched him down to the bank, £200 pls, he drew it out they split it and put it in their pockets, I kid you notI think they are still trying out ways of detecting it, collecting evidence and taking the whole lot to court..

Agree, at least pee is natural and organic, what about all that plastic that gets left on the beach and then washed into the sea?? or does that not count !!Just make sure you go right in when you need to relieve yourself so that there is no suspicion! And be careful of those full face masks that they have in the sports shops - make sure you're pointing in another direction and not beside anyone!
As far as I can tell, suncream is a far worse and prevalent pollutant on beaches than pee - didn't they close that beach at Ko phi phi (pardon the pun) because suncream in the water was one of the major harms to the beachside ecosystem?
I think the law has been pooh-poohed by some visitors.
I haven't been there for 40+yrs but when I was in the MN, the port was full of ships and I wouldn't like to describe some of the stuff that was discharged into the sea in those days ! Perhaps now it's come back to bite? When you consider the amount of sewers / drains that discharge straight into the sea it seems a bit pointless, plus all those ships !!
Publicity stunt
Muy bien
