& meNot sure if it’s a direction you wish to go in.
But
We were very very very with our Maxxfan that I fitted just before this years holiday. Worked really well and was used every night, all night, as well as other times.
Is that a 12v or 240v fan Richard and Ann ?Look for a square fan that fits in your roof. I modified one by cutting the feet off and making it lock into the skylight and it is great at night bringing lots of cooler night air in.

240v mains, uses about 2 amps in total with the inverter, I'd only leave it on all night if we had EHU. Lately we've just had it on during the day (plenty solar here ) and have it in the window. Is that a 12v or 240v fan Richard and Ann ?
Agreed we love our Maxxfan delux, you don’t need a/c in ukNot sure if it’s a direction you wish to go in.

If you run all 4 you can leave out the mozzie guards, none come in and even if they did the little fast blades will kill themi made a 12v one with 4 X 120mm computer fans & Thermostatically controlled
simillar to Richard and Ann

You only use 2, one of them is usually a speed sensor(sometimes yellow) . The wire colours vary, I don't think you can damage them if you get it wrong.Speaking of computer fans how do you wire up a 3 wire harness into 12v wiring?
Cheers James
I like this. simple and quite elegant. Not as pretty, but I can move my car radiator fan wherever most convenient and has a simple speed controller......

Normally, I find leaving Windows/roof lights open enoughFirst trip in very hot weather and we are thinking that a fan would be a good idea for when we are on hook up.
Can't imagine 12v is a goer as would probably quickly drain battery.
A quick Google gives lots of options (as always) so was wondering how others had resolved this.
Hi were do you buy these.View attachment 419270View attachment 419270I bought 4 of theses little whizzes. They are rechargeable with 5000ma batteries and amazingly effective. Replaced 2 12” 240v fans which were too cumbersome for the van. Two of these in the cab areaand two in the bedroom. £13.99 each. Not aircon but we survived 35c a couple of times with these and the roof extractor.
Great for the dog too, just clip them on a door handle, panel or shelf and angle any which way. Kept the lad super cool!
Got these on Amazon.co.ukHi were do you buy these.
