You are right, Brian......... Tell me again, how much of the atmosphere is nitrogen??;)

Had to say I thoroughly enjoyed that

By volume, dry air contains 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases. Air also contains a variable amount of water vapor, on average around 1% at sea level, and 0.4% over the entire atmosphere.

Don't know if the guy is right or wrong, but I love his delivery :)
I think that he is right pretty well all along, using credible data to backlit up. He didn't mince his words and was very listenable

Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
Haven't got time to watch video yet but 80% nitrogen (if my memory still works) in fresh air anyway. 100 & nitrogen might be a bonus in an F1 car at 200mph but in a Mondeo that only goes for the shopping???

Thanks Jim......it was very much a rhetorical question and I assumed that Brian also knew the answer (basic O level chemistry) - thus the wink at the end of the question.

I'm sure Nitrogen in everyday vehicles is a total waste of money and no advantage ....

.... but on the other hand filling motorhome tyres with Hydrogen, or if of a nervous disposition Helium, has a definite advantage of reducing vehicle vehicle mass thereby giving a better capacity for more beer!:beerchug::wink:

I fart into mine.....Has the added bonus of warming the tyres as well.

The bloke is wrong when he says it makes no difference what you put in your tyres
I put hydrogen in mine.. No problem at all and it makes the rig weigh less so I get better mpg
OK, inertia is a bit of a problem but I found if you angle the valves correctly you can loosen them a bit, light the gas and you now have 3 catherine wheels helping you along.. Easy as pie !
