That is my mates barn Paul, I rent half of it for my van and previously the RV, its only 15 mins from me and has electric and flood lighting as well as water. The whole place has CCTV and electronic locks. Great place to work on the van.

The problem with our Arto is there’s loads of wasted space under the floor where all the electrics used to be, but no locker to access it.
Here’s a ting floor hatch, so stuff just rolls around and count get lost.

Prior to this we had a 12mt Yankee with 4 slide outs. It was too big! Not on the roads so much but on campsites, so we set a limit at 9 metres. And bought the Flair at 9.24! It made a tremendous difference to our touring, we could get in most places, manoeuvring was a doddle in comparison so the only downside was the space. After nearly 4 years we have gotten used to it. BUT. We were at the Stuttgart show in January 2018 and went onto the Phoenix, Concorde and Morelo stands. Long story short we saw we could get a Morelo with a slide out at the same length as our Flair. Couple of features we did not like but the new 2019 Palace liner was solving one of those so we did a deal over the next couple of months for 88LB SLO Palace Liner on the 1230 Merc chassis. Only 9.19 metres long, a bit taller and the 2.5 wide body. Of course we had to dust off our C licences, as its 11.99 tons and Sally had forgiven hers when she turned 70, however has just got it reinstated. I am not sure if you can still get a slide out on the Daily chassis with them as it kills the payload in any event I was only interested in the Truck chassis. Martin @funflair may be along with an update on that. So hope that answers the question.

Yes they work well and the electronic locking displays on the dash to show any of them not closed properly! The garage doors had an issue but that was fixed at one of the warranty visits and has been fine since.

I am sure that Michael @sallylillian is right that Morelo have dropped the slide option on the Daily chassis version of their vans, they got themselves into a bit of bother by selling vans that were too heavy to be used so they have streamlined the range and put the slide option purely on the Liners and they are all truck chassis. They are also streamlining the ranges in other areas the shorter Palace's F and H version are being dropped, the premium is being dropped from the Loft range and I am sure there are more that I don't know about.

9 mtrs is large enough for most but a slide out will give you a lot more space.

I am in the enviable position of having a stonking PX for my Flair together with what amounts to an unrepeatable discount on the new one now that the new price structure has been initiated, so selling in the UK is OK only if I get my price. On the Morelo for example the luxury air seats that were standard on the Liner when I ordered, are now E4k extra! Having said that it was a close call to sell the Flair as she is so complete now and all the warranty stuff has been done including the replacement gearbox mounting plate which was an Iveco recall.

I thought it was a mounting plate but basically yes it was the one on LinerTreff and frankly if I had not read it on there I would not have known. I bet there are a lot of new Daily Motorhome owners who are blissfully unaware, until their gearbox ends up in bits in a carrier bag with a massive bill and no warranty redress.

So I take it that all new Iveco Daily's are free from the gearbox mounting plate issue???

When you say new do you mean 2019 models? Either way if you were buying any Daily based MH with the ZF box it would be advisable to check the VIN with Iveco.
