nick whale motorhomes

Hi, I bought a new Wildax constellation three XL from them in 2019.We had an initial problem selling a van on to them as a part exchange they detected damp but we came to an agreement on costs.
We have had a couple of problems with the new van and they have been sorted quickly as their schedule permits and efficiently .
They allow you to stay overnight if needed and provide electric

The only dealing I’ve had were trying to get a deal on a new MH with quite a high spec, spoke to them twice and emailed 3 times.

No reply I’m afraid.

We sold our previous MH to them since Bundesvan didn't take PXs. They discovered damp on inspection, but demonstrated where it was in the locker floor, and quoted what I thought was a very reasonable reduction in the agreed purchase price. They struck me as very pleasant and reasonable people to deal with.

when we gave up motorhoming we sold our Burstner Elegance using Nick Whale as agent.
They were efficient in their process, fair in the valuation and sold the van quite quickly at very close to the listed price.

I think i have decided if we go new it will be on the basis the MH is on the forecourt ready to go.
Don't want to suffer the insincere broken promises of delivery dates.
We will see.

Bought our first IH through them in 2015 when IH briefly sold through dealers and they were a nightmare. Told many lies. When I had finally had enough and emailed Ian Hartley direct I discovered that none of my complaints had been referred onto IH. As soon as they were involved things got sorted. The particularly useless member of staff no longer works there but her partner was one of the salesmen and was certainly there about two years later.

They were not small items I might add, turned up and the category 1 alarm hadn’t been fitted, plus other extras we’d paid for. We were sat in the office on handover day trying to find someone to insure the van for us to drive home as none of the big ones would do it. Fortunately of course we then ended up at Vanbitz but that was hardly the point! We’d already sold our old van so stupidly had gone by train to travel back together in our new van.

They may be better now but I’ve heard a few other horror stories. One recent one was from a Wildax owner though who bought new in November.
