w2f.......... and I second trying Comfort for your insurance.

Seeing as you're paid up, have a search through the insurance section, or even on 'Comfort' and you'll find a lot (but not all) are happy with them.

Although price is a big factor in any transaction, I tend to place some importance on quality of service and how I feel generally about my dealings. Ever since changing to Comfort I've been very happy with their attitude so haven't really tried to better the price. I'm a great believer in loyalty but sadly it seems to be becoming less.

If you are going out of season the ACSI book has thousands of sites at much reduced set prices. Costs about £15 but you get your money back in one or two nights. Never had to book but might be wise owing to growth of campers during the pandemic. Also, very useful, is an aires book. Most towns, cities and even villages have a site where motor homes can park for the day or overnight. Useful when visiting tourist sites where parking for large vehicles isn’t always easy to find. Usually very central too.
