MH
Actively looking
Hi all
we have now semi retired and are in the market to buy a Moho. We very nearly bought a Carthago as we loved the layout. However, never having owned, driven or stayed in a Moho, sense hit back. Therefore, we seek your wealth of knowledge. We seem to like the look of the Auto-Trail F-line, we would buy new and trade up later and intend to use it both here in the uk and in Europe. Any pitfalls we should consider? Do you own one, what’s your experience. There’s two adults travelling and our pooch.
thanks in advance

Welcome from Cheshire east 🥳... decide on your non negotiables and layout then trawl, trawl, trawl...everyone here is so helpful!!

Hi and welcome. As others have said read Jim’s guide on buying.
Also research,research and more research.
You are going to be spending a lot of money so try and get it right first time.
Try and look at as many vans as possible.
Try the beds out. Move about inside a van and make sure the two
of you are happy with the space.
If buying new make sure you are not to far from the dealers so any snagging won’t take miles of travelling. Not all dealers will undertake warranty work from other dealers.
Good luck with your search.

Hello and welcome!

You mention travelling in the UK and Europe.. if you're likely to use the MH in low temperatures you need to look at fully winterised vehicles. I don't think any UK MHs are winterised.

I'd also advise buying a nearly new vehicle first. That way you won't loose as much if you decide to change.
