Hey John - I like your spirit mate :thumb:

Worrying about the cost of living one minute and then arranging his jollies the next - cool. :Rofl1:

Paul

The function room is already booked out John! :Rofl1: Can you believe it!

He has my deepest sympathy as I got it a second time around at 45 and was HELL:cry:

I had a whale of a time at NY and just what I needed.

Hope your son recovers speedily.

Poor little chap hope he gets well soon:thumb:

Thanks John and Ruth, and 'dylan'

He is now eventually on anti-biotics, which he does not like, nothing to do with the taste though, no, he does not like the colour, says Pink is for girls and does not want pink medicine!!!!!!!

Had one bit of good news though, just sold our 32" LCD TV, hubby bought a 42" in the sales

Jammy devil:Wink: and snap we have a 42 inch one too!

trouble is all our other TVs look ridiculously small now:Doh::RollEyes:

I know John, we have little LCD TV's in the kitchen and Bedroom, they look so small

This new 42" is so big, takes a bit of getting used to. The blu-ray DVD's look awesome though

My Mum has just bought a 50/60 inch TV after selling her 32 inch:Smile: Where will it end. Bigger may be better in many situations, but IMO TVs can be just too big. And once you are absorbed in the programme you may as well be watching a 14 inch portable.

I certainly would not buy bigger that 32inch, not even for Jack Bauer. Besides I quite like the pop and the white dot you get when you switch my old telly off:Rofl1:

I love this forum:Laughing:

We start of talking about next NY's venue and end up discussing TV sizes.

Does size really matter:Laughing::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

OK....so we've gone from New Years meet to chickenpox (most kids get 'em.....mine did) to telly sizes (ours is a mere 42" too Bryan) - where is this going to go now? Perhaps that's a question I shouldn't be asking :Rofl1:

Mines well under 32 inches, but getting back on topic.

The Rutland Arms, AKA the Dirty Duck Caravan Site, was a great venue, but unless we can have the grass as well it is too small and if the CC have the barn they will want the grass as well.

I think we will have at least 30 Motorhomes next year. So john is right we do need to start looking. Me? I intend to be at least 1000 miles from the Dirty Duck on NYE:grin:
