Wow, I had a p100 pick up. Bought it for £140.00 ran it two years and scrapped it for £70.00. I was very sorry to see it go.

When I'm in my 32 year old motorhome called Bertie, I look at the sparkling palaces on site and ask myself - what are they doing in their motorhomes that I can't do?? ( No smutty comments please!) I paid £12,000 for mine fifteen years ago. I'm told it's a classic. Have fun, be proud.

I drove by a Ford garage saw this and thought how great it looked and went in agreed a price and bought it,at the time they only made a petrol version but later when they bought out the diesel version I got one of those as well sadly the petrol version was a bit of a rust bucket and I stuck in a auction after about 3 years.

You'll have the same fun as anyone that owns an expensive one. Most folks on this forum recognise we all have something in common so most of the rich wont mock you. I hope you have lotsa fun.

And at least one of the newly impoverished motorhomers who ignored the 'How much?' alarm bells won't mock you either. We may well have cause to reflect that we could have been less cautious ... But I used to work in a Bank and like to keep the pressure on the current generation of Bankers by making them wonder whether they'll get their money back!

Still hoping to get the same level of fun, 'T'aint the tin tent,, tis the folk inside that make it'

It really is a case of enjoying your motorhome and having adventures,making memories and meeting like minded people,so travel far and enjoy the freedom.

Welcome. The banter on this site is good and no one minds if your van only has a small hot tub. Some dont even have billiard rooms in their vehicles, but at least the older vans come with cocktail cabinets as standard.
