Your van has hella din plug sockets like most these days

You will have to get a converter or charge the tv from traditional cigar lighter to hela din plug

Looks like you've got one of these.

Sorry the links are so humungous! Can't get my computer to do as it's told at the moment.

Switch all the electrical systems off at the master on/off switch on your control panel for the 12volt electrical system. Prize the silvery/grey outer cover off the original socket assembly, underneath that there are likely to be some small screws holding the three pin 240v and female 12v socket to the side panel, undo them and re-wire. The central pin of the 12volt socket needs to be the live conducter.

Should be fairly straight forward...... famous last words!!

Cheers!

Much better to fit a Hella plug on the TV lead. The sockets on those converters are naff, prone to a poor connection & arcing.
