BBC News on-line has just revamped its pages.

In the past one could click on 'Business' and then 'Markets Data'

I cannot find 'Markets Data' on the revamped pages. Have they dropped it or can somebody lead me to it in the new version, please?

If you click on Business in the row at the top, then you can click on Markets Data, as here;

That was the old format before yesterday and which I used daily.

I do not read/speak Polish and I doubt they follow the FTSE and £/€ exchange rate but I want on-line which I can access anytime.

It's crap to flip between the bits I usually read.
So just created a shortcut for each.

Can no longer click on "Live News" on the news front page.
Now I have to log in, select I player, then channels, then News.
or
Click on BBC One at near the appropriate time to watch the news, then local news.
Its a pain having to log in just to watch the news though.

This the news page I get now

When I click on business 'Markets Data' does not appear.
It may depend on location.
The BBC (like many large news organisations) is selective on what news it gives to what countries.

The BBC pays for market data, so it may be limited to UK based people only or only those with with UK tv licences.

It is just another website that no longer works on all platforms.

The difference being that we pay the BBC to produce it.

Ah, ok, I tried it with a Spanish IP address and now I can't get it. Looks like you need a UK IP address.

People actually watch the news? 🤣
Too much of it is depressing/unimportant/irrelevant to me. I avoid as much as I can but sadly some feel the need to repost (mostly the bad, contentious or 'celebrity') bits of the News on social media message boards without comment or opinion, presumably just as a service to others who have no access to public broadcasting or are living under a stone.
;)

As I said above, I think you need a UK IP address to access the UK site, which has the info you need.

I was getting Markets Data here in Poland until they changed the format this week.
Are you scrolling down the Home page rather than News?

This is what I see using your link then clicking on Home at the top of the page.

I have tried to copy what I see but that did not work.

I have looked for 'screenshot' on all my menus but cannot find it.

I am lost.

The layout is a right jumble compared to previously. You have to hunt for the link to Regional News and then drill down to your county. Previously you could customise the front page to include your local news. I can't imagine what idiot thought the current presentation was an improvement.

I have now tried on my iPad and phone and can access the market data as I described above.

Just to reiterate, it’s on the home page not the news page and Money is a long way down past Entertainment, Food etc.

None of that :Entertainment', 'Food', Money' and the red banners appears on my Home page.

We are looking at totally different pages.

I wonder if they are running a Beta version for some users and are keeping the old one for others.

Janine have you had any change in format from Tuesday this week onwards or are you seeing the same old format?

To be honest, I don’t tend to look at the news if I can help so not sure if the format has changed.

My screenshots are from the website.

Are you using the app or webpage?

Looking at the App, it doesn’t appear to exist anymore. This article is a few years old but might explain their tinkering..

Why we have changed our market data pages https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-43822764
