New digital tv aeriel...any recomendations ?

Looking at a new digital tv aerial and they seem to vary wildly in cost. Was looking at maybe one that retracts into a cupboard. Any recommendations ?

I have a ebay omnidirectional magnetic base digital Ariel, about 5 inch tall. It does the job well, via a amplifier when signal is weak. I leave it on the roof and run the cable in by the back door.

We have a Status directional one that looks remarkably like the one in your photo. There are two types one with a short extending arm for use into an overhead locker, or one with a longer arm for use into a wardrobe. Had both types and both work in the Uk and all over Europe. The aerial amplifier also acts as a signal finder. Just rotate until the red light turns green, or even greenish will do.

Great reception & no holes in the roof
