Hi
What tricks do owners use to not have the sticker permenantly stuck to the screen. Just incase of screen replacement necessitating a new sticker. My one is designated 2 . What are the numbers explaining?
Thanks

Tax disc holder, not strickly legal but I doubt if you would get done for.
I need a screen replacing so that's what I will do, pitty I didn't do it on this screen, will have to get new French & German ones.

Another vote for laminate and wide sellotape, see@Mr porky above.

Have both the crit air and German one, never needed them, no one as I am aware asked to see one and I don't think I have seen a French or German van with one on either. I stuck my crit air one on as directed, won't come off, but the German one I just taped it on so transferable. :giggle:

Phone screen protector foil then on windscreen so can be pull of then onto anther screen.

Tax disc holder for me, had too many screens replaced in cars😳

When we had a new windscreen last year the German one came off OK but the French one is only perforated paper so no chance. I now have them for our new van but decided I wouldn’t stick the French one on unless we knew we were going to enter a zone where it was needed. Apparently the French are particular about it being stuck onto the windscreen properly, whether that’s true or not who knows but you can only get a new one sent to your home address so if you have your windscreen replaced whilst you are abroad you can’t get a new one until you are home. I am just trying to reduce the risks as they are cheap.
