Well travelled
We live up in the Highlands, and youngest son lives in a small villlage called Kingstone near Hereford. They have just had a baby girl (our second grandchild) and want to go down to see them. We have to take our Pointer who had a stroke at Christmas and has left him incontinent and pees as he walks and also usually poops when he is asleep, which is a bit awkward.

So, we need to travel down in the motorhome so we can stay in that with the dog as we cannot have it in the house with us when we visit. But we can't park in the village and won't get on his drive either. We only want to stay couple of days, public transport is really a no no because of the dog, and we can't leave him in the kennels either.

I'm looking for helpful suggestions please,

there is a C&MC CL just under 2 miles away at Brampton Golf Course, no idea what its like.. or even if thats an option.

Aww, i feel for you and the doggie.
Why can't you park in the village ?
There must be a carpark or village hall or a kindly neighbour you'd let you use their drive if they knew the circumstances ?

Could your son ask some of the neighbours with drives if you can park up? You could also contact the parish council or the sports club and see if there's somewhere you can park up, or the church, school etc.

I see there is a local pub in the village, you might want to phone them and see if you could park in their large car park for a small fee or indeed you will need to eat And drink too.... win win...

Looking on Google Maps, there would seem to be a few ‘open’ areas that may allow Moho parking - the Village Hall, Sports Association, etc., or do you need EHU too? The houses/streets do not seem to be crowded-in, so I would have thought that you’d be able to park on street, or do you know that this is not allowed.....?
