we are off to the nec Friday to have a look around the show. Looking to move on after any suggestions within approx 2 hours drive. We will also have our 8 year old with us

Moving on in which direction though? 2 hours from NEC could get you to London, Wales, Yorkshire or Norfolk. That's quite a large catchment.
