Has anyone been here? Looks good and had many reasonably priced overnight parking areas.

We want biking or hiking for a day or two before we head up into Denmark.

Looks like there are plenty of routes but would like personal experiences, if possible, especially on safety of parking fairly near to a big city.

Thanks.

Just left Euronat (France) after 6 days stay. Nearly everyone cycles around the site. ?

Naturpark sound a bit like a naturist camp (or a camp naturist :Eeek:).

Cycling in the nudie could be a bit uncomfortable unless you have well upholstered saddles. :moon2::D2

Too much cold ice cream has affected your brain, I think!!!

It's a park for nature (furry and feathered things) not naked people.

Blimey ... I thought more of you :LOL::LOL:

We have stayed at Walsrode, the Veltvogelpark which is in the same area. An enormous shady car park and when we stayed only a few campers. Free overnight. The animal park was still open but we didn’t bother about going in. Plenty of walking opportunities I think. It was about this time of year and strangely quiet.
I cannot find the camper contact number so might have been in the Bord Atlas.
Where did you see it ?

I saw info for parking areas on Park4night. They are all pay areas (about 9 euros) but our preferred one has electricity because if we ride the bikes we'll need to charge before we have another ride the next day.

Here ...

Having trouble finding routes from there on the internet but, I think it's a hire place and carriage ride start point, so I think we'll find info if we go there.

Thanks for your reply.

Just found my “unposted” second post so I’ll post it now in case it useful to anyone else. I don’t find the new website quite as easy as the last on iPad.
This is the google earth view of it and you can see the shady parking.
