Just had main control unit changed because it was not working on 12volt
Onsite at moment running on gas and we get a lot of water droplets on inside top of fridge and drips from cooling fins inside at back
is this normal

Yes the fins should freeze after a while.
Are there drips on the fridge ceiling?

That usually happens when there is a defrost cycle and it goes on too long. The steam rises off the evaporator and condenses on the ceiling.
Does the main control unit incorporate a defrost?
