Mystery home-brew apparatus

Been clearing out the attic and have come across this in a box of home brewing equipment. The box contains demijohns, corks, traps and tubing so guess its used for wine makinHave asked a winemaker friend but they don't recognise what it is, looks like one of those killer spray things.

Yep,killer spray. He was tricking his missus into thinking he was a wine buff,but actually poisoning her to a slow death.
Or,if it was gin……a sloe death
