I'm a newbie
Good day Motorhomers. We are looking for advice/recommendations on Multimedia centres for our Burstner. We want everything in one place so we don't want a single satnav and a single radio. Any suggestions on makes, would be appreciated.

There is loads of choice but Pioneer seem to be a popular option

I know you have stated your preference as "one unit" but do research the satnav element. In my admittedly limited experience updates for combined units can be very expensive or even unavailable. And if you don't get on with the satnav or its software your are stuck.

Thanks very much. Have looked into the Pioneer and they don't use Garmin or Tom Tom as their maps. They use HERE. Never heard of them but I think you are correct - I think I am correct but their updates are about £70 !!!!

Our new Burstner came with one of these - specially made for Fiat MoHo.

Im sure the Daughter said Nissan wanted the thick end of £700 to update her car for sat nav.

We have a Kenwood DNX4230TR DAB unit. It was pre-fitted by the dealer. Gives me Garmin for navigation which has a motorhome options which allows me to feed in size and weight. Also has CD, and DVD as well as Bluetooth and USB inputs and phone handsfree. The radio has FM, DAB and DAB plus. In addition it takes the two inputs from the twin rear view camera and allows me to show either of them on the screen, or split the screen to see the camera view and the navigation. It also appears to have free traffic warnings, although they are a bit hit and miss. Map updates cost about £40 a go.
