Hi, I just wandered if anyone had any top tips or product recommendations for getting mould and mildew off a material awning please?

Thanks

No idea if it would work on an an awning, but I was advised to use white vineger on a waxed jacket- worked a treat and got rid of the smell.

I've used white vinegar to remove white mould spots from cycle panniers stored in shed. Man made fabric, not quite same as awning material but similar. Rinse well after use.

Since 2005 this time
"Starbrite RV Awning cleaner" (about £10-£15) took off grease stains from the awning of our first M/H easily.

I rang the supplier today and they said use nothing else apart from warm water and the abrasive side of a washing up sponge otherwise it may damage the waterproofing. I tried it and its not even shifted a little bit of it. Will look at buying Starbrite or Curtain Magic, thanks

Since 1968'ish
Mild solution if TFR and a good scrub with long handled brush on both sides
Making sure to keep the bodywork wet and free from overspray .
Works for me (y)
