Hi All,
We have just bought our 2nd 'van and have joined the site to share in the fun. We are based in the NE of Scotland.
Our first 'van that we had for 6 years was a 1998 VW T4 Trident Autosleeper Hightop.
We traveled the length of the country in it, explored the Western Isles of Scotland and attended the Speyside Whisky Festival twice (with @OldAgeTravellers ) using this dependable van as our base. However our two boys are 5 & 8 now and we wanted a little more room for them than the space in the hightop.
So after a lot of looking at models available we have gone for a 2012 Peugeot Boxer Autocruise Quartet. We have friends who have one and had a good look around theirs, and compared it to the only other Van conversion with lateral bunks the WildAx Solaris.
The beauty of this 'van is the two full length bunks running laterally down the off-side rear. Leaving a living area for the Trouble and I to relax in whilst the Wee Bairns drift off. We collect the vehicle at the end of the month and are looking forward to many adventures.
Happy Camping all,
THC.
