We bought our motorhome in May and have decided we cant risk going away in the cold and wet due to Mike’s health. My question is - the motorhome was taxed by the dealer for us, if I sorn it for 5 months who would receive the refund, us or the dealer??

It must have been taxed your name as the registered keeper so it will come to you.

For the health of the Motorhome you would be better to keep it taxed so yourself or get someone else insured on could give it a run of 15-20 miles every few weeks to keep it in good condition. Nothing deteriorates quicker than an unused vehicle.

I’m not sure but as you are the registered owner the refund should come to you I think.

Your van sunshine... Surely you should get the money.

So sorry Mike not up to the journey. Xx

100% it’ll go to you , cause I’ve just been through the process

As long as you are the registered keeper on the V5

Don’t worry about it.

The tax would have been bought with your money anyway, even by the dealer. The cost of the tax would have been included in the “on the road “ price.
