Brill!! That's why the doc creator left some blank entries.
Our MH doesn't yet have a microwave but one day :)

We fill the freezer with pre-cooked frozen meals in individual containers like Lasagne, Sheperds Pie and anything else that SWMBO can make and freeze before we go that can be heated in the oven. It's great you arrive and within 30 minutes we have a meal on the table.

As for lists everyones is different. We usually add locking the house and putting the alarm on.

What planet are they on. Water Tank EMPTIED more like filled just in case the first stop doesn't have the taps turned on or they are not working. Bit like turning the 12v off in the habitation area. We just switch ours on and it stays on till we get back same as the gas.

Yes, the list does need a separation between items needing infrequent checks and those that are valid per-trip checks.
I like it because the weekly/monthly reminders are there and as new MH'ers I am at step 1st trip! :)
Later I'd pass-over with the checks on oil, water & tyres for e.g.

Once we’ve completed our pre-flight check, the wife’s reasonably happy providing we don’t hit any turbulence en route, which normally means I’ve overdone it on the curry again.

Priorities eh :roflmto:

Our MH doesn't yet have a microwave but one day :)

In our last van, we bought a cheapy one from the local Asda and just stored it in the bottom of the wardrobe, removed to cook the occasional meal, then stored safely away in the wardrobe again (y)

I drew up, printed out and laminated a fabulous check list in my newbie fervour and its a cracker, large font, multi-coloured, the full bunha; I never remember to use it! I need a check list that just says, " rememeber your F**king checklist ya dobber!"

It's now a bit redundant, I remember it all anyway. Lets face it, its a van, not a 747. The only thing I consistently forget is the bathroom door. We ALWAYS have to stop after the first bend to close it.

However, I do have one large laminated A4 sheet with large red writing that says in unequivocal tones, "DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG YOUR SHORE LINE AND REMOVE YOUR WHEEL CLAMP!"
It gets clipped to the steering wheel; once bitten twice shy and all that...Luckily the cable has a breakaway design and the clamp didn't do any damage as it pressed up against the wheel arch. Donkey of the day award righteously earned that day!

I would add, a visual check of all tyres for nails etc or other damage, check pressure if in doubt. Doing that a few weeks ago probably saved me a blowout, there was a big nail right through one tyre.

Also not from personal experience, check the EHU is disconnected :Eeek:

We sometimes take the kids but they're optional. The dog is a definite, he's just ahead of the wines and spirits on our list

It is a PDF version of that document that is in the downloads section. I used to print them off, collate them, laminate them with a special matt laminate, bind them and post them. I had to stop I was just losing money!

The lists are ten years old and due a revamp, someone did point out the other day that I mention travellers cheques. How times change.

Opps nearly forgot .. DON'T FORGET TO MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG EHU ..

Saw a guy in Saint-Malo start to drive off while still attached to the EHU Post so shouted STOP and he did. He then explained that he was just moving it slightly so not a problem. Later that day we saw him driving down the road trailing his EHU lead behind him.
