Taken from Facebook
Hope there's no injuries 🤞

More info here. Hope he wasn't filling with LPG as that might make Morrissons stop us from filling.
I wonder if the fridge was running on gas.

Dam, Janine is faster on the keyboard than me.

Very sad for the Motorhome owners and must have been very frightening.

The situation could have been a lot worse happening in the petrol station.

I wonder if they were filling up with gas and had left the fridge on?

Just a tiny bit skarry, for all present especially anyone left in the van when it kicked off and where it happened.
Hope no one was injured.

The news reports say that the occupants got out okay and were not injured but I agree, very scary.

More likely the fridge wasn't turned off and the pilot light ignited fumes - maybe that RV runs on petrol? Some of them do.

A good warning to all motorhomers, both old and new, as to why the gas doesn't (or shouldn't) come on for at least 15 mins after the auto switchover from "en-route electric".

But glad to see no-one hurt - although I bet the insurance claim is going to be something else!

One reason i never leave my fridge on auto when travelling. glad occupants are ok. Caravan opposite me a few years ago went up after a gas leak, was spectacular. Took out the electric post and singed next doors awning and set fire to a tree. Occupants ok apart from minor burns (husband)

Morrison’s allow you to fill those ‘Safe Fill’ LPG bottles from the pump don’t they?

As I said in the other thread on this same incident... why automatically assume it was caused by LPG filling.
Good chance the Yank RV runs on petrol which IMO is just as, if not more dangerous than LPG.
Let's get all the facts before we start speculating and scaremongering over filling LPG.

My daughter in law lives just down the road and was in Morrisons as it happened. She recons stupid having the petrol station at the exit the car park as they had to evacuate leaving their cars behind.

Hope old Mo is ok 😀😀👍🏼
