I'm a newbie
As I understand it and I've probably got this all wrong as I'm not very good at grasping things, the MOT suspension only applies to cars motorbikes and vans, to allow us to shop, work, etc it doesn't make it clear if a MH comes into this category. If your MH is your only means of transport I assume you are covered, Yes / No? I see many of you have already SORNed your MHs and I was thinking of doing the same but while this crisis is ongoing are you able to insure your MH if its not taxed and without an MOT.

DVLA & DVSA sites there is no mention of Motorhomes/Motor Caravans.
They just say Cars, Motorcycles & Light Vans suspended for 6 months from 30th March.
Lorries & Buses suspended for 3 months from 21st March.

I would have thought that as Motorhomes are Class 4 for a MOT (even over the 3500 kg Light Van limit) the rule would be as for cars. Under the circumstances, you would have to be very unlucky to get prosecuted.

You could try contacting DVAS you might be lucky and get a reply.
