Just wondering if there are mosquitoes in France in September?

Just had a look at my pictures and the date I got attacked were June, I’ve also got pictures when down in the Camargue and there was no mossies and they are a big problem in that area… so you should be ok…😎

Edit: Camargue was September

And the new Tiger mosquito is all over the country (France). Take care of your legs, feet and arms in the evenings, their favourite feeding time. Wear long trousers and shoes or socks.

1000 metres.
That’s very surprising.
There aren’t any around Annecy and that‘s only at 500m
The little buggers love me and I have never been bitten anywhere in the French or the Swiss alps.
They generally don’t like the altitude.

They were in their hordes around the Lac De Serre Poncon. I think it was because we were close to the water. Never had an issue with them anywhere else.
