Used it for an overnight. Liked listening to church bells. Nice village but still too busy for me during day.

Yes Tuesday is market day. I don't think it's as big as it was a few years ago when coach parties made a day of it.

There's also a visiting mobile Pizza van (yum!) and Fish 'n Chip van on certain evenings, which is handy.

Remember Linda from the early Rv days Brian she lived in Moreton if memory serves

Nearby Stow on the Wold and Chipping Norton also worth a visit

Reminds me of my times at the fire service college... we got sent there from time to time for our sins ..
But the countryside and surrounding villages were lovely..and as mentioned the pubs were something else..
Living in the north east it was a real plesant culture shock to be there(y):D..
Andy..

Been there several times, we have booked for over xmas if i'm well enough and if the van hasn't sold!!
Cheers, Dave(y)

not being an occifer I never went there but heard a lot about it:D

We just spent a nice couple of days st the CMC site at Broadway. Nice site with and old heritage railway line running past. Some lively country walks, a very nice village a short walk away and some nice restaurants.

I went to the Fire College once on a loss adjusters training day, watching various kinds of Fire being extinguished. Very impressed but there seemed to be hardly anyone there except us and the trainers in a huge, huge place!

while you are in the area, please drop in to broadway for a night or two, wonderful cotwold village. don't know if you have a toad, if so have a visit to lower slaughter, snowhill, burford, bidford on avon, the littletons or even a visit to our village salford priors all within 10 miles of Broadway

I love the Rebecca Tope murder books set around all the Cotswold villages mentioned.

A very good Thai restaurant down one of the side streets, other side of the street from the Site side .

Nice site. Stayed there a few times
