Moran Motors in Ludlow

Hi we' re interested in a van at the above and just wondered if anyone had any experience of them before we do a nearly 3 hour drive, after sales service etc

Will you factor in that 3 hour drive (and back) each time you need them to do service/warranty work?

They are a family business and been there for many years. Only dealt with them once re service and some warranty work, all good. Ludlow is an old market town and a good place to visit and has a large camp site, with a bus stop outside.

We haven't bought anything from them, but have been to look at vans there, on several occasions. We also have a friend who bought from them.
They come across as being a good, honest family business. Our friend was very happy with their after-sales service.
If they had something we wanted, we wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

I ran a company in Ludlow some years ago and can confirm Roger Moran is highly respected .
Indeed he sold a number of Motorhomes to my father in law without complaint.
He even advised him not to buy one of the vans on sale as he didn't think it was suitable, due to lack of power steering
They are well established and i believe have a good reputation.
I would imagine the business is now ran by his son and daughter.

We bought our Burstner new from Moran Motorhomes 4 years ago. Had a great sales experience and have had wonderful service since then. Nothing is ever to much trouble and they always charge a fair prices for any work required. Can also mot the vehicles so we combine the two services with a nice day out in Ludlow. A family business who know their stuff rather than dealing with an ex car salesman

Why not ask if someone on here would mind having a look at the van for you before you travel down/across/up

Thanks to everyone who replied. It's great to get feedback from people in 'the know. You hear of so many people who have been done over by dealers, it makes us feel more confident to hear positive feedback on this one!

A neighbour of mine brought several vans from them over the years and always rated them for both buying and repairs.
If I were to buy from a dealer I would certainly consider them but I do live only an hour away.

Check if your local dealer/service/garage can and will do your warranty/service works.
I did and they do so i bought 2 hours away.
