    :Eeek: what size cc can my son ride for a moped please,and will he have to have l plates, and not sure about all this, hope you can understand me no nothing about bikes, thanks:thumb:

    unless things have changed, which they probably have , then a moped is under 50cc.

    i dont understand the law regarding bikes anymore.

    you dont say how old he is...

    i can ride a 49cc on a full car license with know L plates:thumb:

    Ah but you neglected to ask if he had a car licence.

    up to 50cc at age 16-17 must take a cbt first before going on road and a 30 mph speed restriction but most have them on anyway to comply with uk law lplates etc if he has a car licence as other say in the thred
