Okay, I will have a look and price up. We don't have the new kayak or motor yet so I am just doing research :) I'm guessing I might also need a new charger.Weight isn't a real issue as the new boat has a payload of just under 300kg and is paddled solo.

Our son is in The Lakes over the bank holiday and we will probably have a drive over there (in the car) with new kayak and one of the hard shells to let him have a look at it. He is a fully qualified kayak instructor and is interested for the organisation for which he works. They tend to use folding kayaks at the moment but he is always open to consideration of alternatives. Definitely not toys for the use to which they are put!
