Mirror Help

Hi
Can anyone point me in the right direction by telling me how to safly remove the back cover from the Mekra mirrors (see photos) that are fitted to my van. Scared stiff I break anything.

Have you tried googling the part number to see if there’s an exploded view diagram for it? Could reveal clip/fixing locations.

The usual way to remove these type of things is to remove the mirror then the screws/clips become obvious. The mirror is usually held in with a circular clip/attachment to the motor that allows it to move in all 4 directions. Try moving the mirror up as far as possible and pry gently at the bottom and have a look in the gap with a light. You may be able to see the mirror clip. Often prying gently at the bottom will cause the mirror to pop out so be ready to catch it just in case....
