Some of you will be aware that I have been looking at a Mini convertible to tow behind the Winnie for some time. The time has been taken in trying to persuade Claire that we really should do it!
The Mini was built with a new shell by a friend who is an engineer. The car is truly immaculate and because it has been re built as a convertible it is pillarless. It also has all the extra strengthing required and has bars in the sides which the original Mini's never had.
We are off on Saturday for nearly a week - another achievement as we have only managed to go away for a weekend in the past! - and are borrowing the car for a couple of weeks. I am totally hooked and hopefully Claire will be!

If anyone is around and wants to pop in for a beer/wine/whisky or two!
Then the next job is to decide should I 'A Frame' or 'trailer it'?
Regards
Chris
