I found that the bonnet on our 2 year old PVC was getting plenty of stone chips. Read about bonnet protectors and generally read mixed views. Have this week opted to go for one which is a bit better quality than most online - but dearer too! However really pleased with it - good fit, plenty of air flow beneath it and imo looks ok. Cheaper than a respray at this stage! Thought it might be of interest though appreciate there are a lot out there who don’t like these things.
