Microsoft Autoroute will run in Windows 10

I know some Funsters still find Autoroute easier to use than Garmin BaseCamp but have not been able to load the program in Windows 10. I have 'upgraded' from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro and have successfully installed Microsoft Autoroute 2013. Rather than search for my original installation disk I purchased a download copy from a guy on eBay who guaranteed it would install and run in Windows 10 and at £6.99 I considered it worth the risk. I have it running in Win 10, though been installed on this PC since Win 7.

I don't know why Garmin binned Mapsource
For a while I could update the map for ^^ but now that has been nobbled too

I don't like Basecamp.
Luckily I mostly use the Garmin mapping products for getting POI for my holidays into a GPSr.

My bike rides & hikes are created and saved to a GPSr via Memory Map
