Has anyone come across a suitable kit for mounting a spare wheel on the rear wall of their motorhome? Some drilling and reinforcement would obviously be needed, but such a kit should be relatively simple to fit.

I’ve considered an underslung mounting kit, but I think that there will be space and clearance issues, as well as potential difficulty accessing the spare in the event of a puncture, especially if laden, so a rear-wall Mount is what I’d like to install.

Any ideas?

Brilliant idea! Unfortunately we don’t have a tow-bar, though. I appreciate the suggestion though. (y)

May I point out, that My Spare on an Alloy wheel weighs in at 27Kg.

Which is about 3kg lighter than our spare which is on steel.

If you search on this username way back probably 2ish years you'll see how I made a spare wheel carrier for the back of our MH. Depends on your MH if you could do something similar.
